Cosmetic Teeth Bonding

Teeth bonding is as an alternative to veneers and other expensive cosmetic procedures.  The value of choosing an experienced, highly-skilled, full-service cosmetic dentistry practice like Dentince Dental Clinic is knowing that you get access to procedures to improve your smiles .

What Is Dental Bonding And How Could It Help Your Smile?

If you are looking for an easy and inexpensive way to improve your smile then dental bonding could be a solution. This is a very versatile treatment that will normally only take one appointment with our dentist here at Dentince Dental Clinic. Dental composite bonding can be used to correct a large number of common problems .Problems can be corrected with dental bonding include:
  • Chipped or worn down teeth
  • Gaps and  spaces in between your teeth
  • Teeth that are broken or  too small
  • Teeth that are only slightly out of alignment.

Bonding Vs. Veneers

While their end goal is the same, dental bonding and the application of porcelain veneers do it in different ways.

Bonding uses a resin material that is sculpted on the teeth, cured, and then polished.

Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are cemented on to the fronts of the teeth. To make space for the veneers, approximately 0.3 mm to 0.5 mm of the tooth enamel must be shaved off.

In use, porcelain veneers do not stain and are quite durable.

Veneers last longer, but are more expensive than bonding.

Also, bonding is usually done in a single appointment, while veneers require two appointments.

Because cosmetic dental bonding isn’t quite as well-known as other procedures, ask your cosmetic dentist and do your research to decide if it’s right for you. It’s a great option for people with small imperfections on their teeth or unusual gaps between teeth. The procedure is typically completed in one visit and is quite cost-effective
